TV subs hit all fans but even split no. The clubs and WBA get another kick in the teeth.

Ok I've mentioned the fact that the TV companies are having a bumper pay day as supporters that frequented matches now find themselves looking for a fix of the Football team they love.So TV and subscription tv models such as SKY sports are now taking advantage by charging subscriber's  £14.95 for games all ready offered for free in there package. Is this fair no, if this has anything to do with a package to help English clubs in need no matter what league they ply there trade then supporters would oblige if this was the case. So lets have a look at exactly the reasons why this has been added to people's deals. So the worlds richest league confirmed that half the games for the rest of this month and start of next would be sold in a attempt to claw back some of the millions of pounds a week its clubs are loosing from playing behind closed doors.

So fans are expected to pay 14 pounds 95 for those matches on SKY Sports and BT Box office channels provoking a backlash more intense than when the premier league tried to stop us from watching them at all. So the statement above is wholly untrue and people will be concerned as this virus attacks every corner of our economy and money is short and the dole que lengthens with another 500,000 job losses expected before the end of the month. So at a meeting involving all premier league clubs only one club voted against it and that's Leicester City, Courtesy of a club member but also Man United failed to join Leicester as vice chairman Ed-Woodward argued that it would put unfair burden on supporters at this time. Another pointless quote which Man U later back tracked on, which Man u are becoming masters of, in and out of United's club business. A nice quote but no real action taken. Supporters will help and donate to the plight of clubs if possible but holding them to ransom to watch their clubs is a bad move and this could do more damage than good to the broadcasting giants. And we come to the fact that West Brom's next three matches are now pay per view so some supporters end up paying more than others its just not rite at all. So its not gone un noticed by the fans or pundits with Gary Neville making himself heard and Aston Villa Supporters trust saying its like tipping the fans up side down and shaking their last few shackles from their pockets. And at the end of the day the clubs voted for this apart from the one mentioned and this surely comes back to fair play, as clubs like the Albion cut their cloth accordingly to navigate the current economic climate. And then others reckless spending wanting the supporters to bail them out and the thing is its not a pot were say an Albion supporter pays to watch and that money goes to the Albion no it gets split and helps the clubs that have gone over the top so puts the prudent clubs at a loss once more. Football supporters will go above and beyond for their clubs and others in need but this is a tax that does not split fair and gives the more reckless an un fair advantage. So clubs and broadcasters should rethink this one,but this does give way for concern as the premier league gives a false sense of security when the reality is more of one on stilts with tired legs at this point in time.
