Football and standing room only

So is it time to bring back standing and cement the true English football atmosphere back into the game. As it's been a generation since standing was allowed in the top two divisions has the argument lost its intensity.

I remember when the thought of getting rid of the true English terrace drove heated debate in the national press , pubs and clubs across the country. And 100% of supporters wanted standing to stay even the supporters who frequented seated stands , as all supporters thought seats would kill the atmosphere of the game. Obviously the whole football community was horrified at Hillsborough and nobody wanted another disaster of that magnitude to happen again. We could all argue that it was bad policing on the day that caused the horrible nightmare and sadly people who left to be entertained by there team tragically came to there end  in a way nobody could of imagined , especially in one of the best grounds in the country. But times have changed disasters like this with the technology we have today make bit impossible to happen absolutely impossible. So why the hang ups, Germany have brought back standing with no problems what so ever. So is it time to update the green guide and Taylor report. I think so but what I should mention is it wasn't just Hillsborough , other disasters had unfortunately happened before this. Such as 1902 Ibrox , 1946 Burden park , 1971 Ibrox , 1985 Valley parade Bradford and then Hillsborough all mentioned for respect of the fans and supporters who lost their life on the dates mentioned. So the first steps have been taken , clubs have applied to have rail seats installed such as Manchester United ,Spurs have the capability to erect rail seating in there new ground and Wolves. West Brom applied to be a club were the seating was tested. So I think it's a matter of time not if but when and how long the powers that be take to catch on to the  reality that it's impossible to have any disasters such as the ones above in today's modern and safe grounds. A generation will fall in love with football in a completely different way and the older supporter will be able to enjoy and feel the intensity as before. It will bring back a dimension that I think the game lacks. One day I might tell you how I see it a lot clearer than most and how I see the vast change in the demographic of the football supporter in ways I can't mention but hey footballs for all but its left a section of society behind but that's another article all together. So it's on its way , the sooner the better. It's safe bring back the

British terrace and the true footballing atmospher for the good of the game. Supporters and players will experience a different but better experience.
