 COACHING STYLE 

It’s been said by players and Billic himself in a post tournament interview that he compiles detailed study’s with his players and staff watching many clips of the opposition in action preparing them for every possible situation on the pitch always preparing them for the toughest tests. 

As we spoke about his love for music , he likes to motivate his players by listening to music before and after games. This isn’t as usual as you might think in the game as Stuart Pearce used to use his love for punk to G the dressing room up playing loud and proud in the dressing room , some players at Forest had their own opinion on his taste.

As a manager he has a solid record having managed for a total of 404 games this was before West Brom so his win ratio had improved.

Played 404.  Won 192 Draw 103 leaving a loss of 109

Played 65 won 42 D 15 lost 8 not bad and Croatia 🇭🇷 performed well under his management with managing a quarter final in the World Cup. He has also made a third place result in the World Cup as a player not bad. He started his career with HAJDUK SPLIT as a player and finished their winning trophies in both stints at the club. He also played for West Ham were he’s loved but actually spent a longer time playing for Everton which I found surprising as he was a legend at the hammers. 

I don’t see Billic as a quitter and I don’t see Albion getting rid but the club and especially the owner should dip into those deep pockets and support a manager who we are lucky to have and especially given he joined us in the championship. Their is no doubt he has an eye for a player you only have to luck at the talent he has identified for the club to bring in Periera  and Diangana naming just two. The club must back him because we are treating the championship with contempt and one season we will go down not to return just like Leeds.

 So Football seems to be changing in not just an un noticeable way. So some massive rule changes on who has a say at the table to make or break rules and regulations,and the willful destruction of some what were once major trophies in the English game. I think we would all agree that the premier league was a great idea and that its provided English clubs with a lucrative target to aim for. So with the influx of foreign investment and players both have had more positive effects than negative but some negative effects have occurred. Football and standing room only

 So is it time to bring back standing and cement the true English football atmosphere back into the game. As it's been a generation since standing was allowed in the top two divisions has the argument lost its intensity. I remember when the thought of getting rid of the true English terrace drove heated debate in the national press , pubs and clubs across the country. And 100% of supporters wanted standing to stay even the supporters who frequented seated stands , as all supporters thought seats would kill the atmosphere of the game. Obviously the whole football community was horrified at Hillsborough and nobody wanted another disaster of that magnitude to happen again.
